From the Renaissance to the Twentieth-First Century, amateurs, garden enthusiasts, and landscape architects have created living works of art that reflect the centuries. Monde & Merveilles provides a unique opportunity to visit and appreciate these masterworks of European history. In small groups, led by highly qualified guides, we offer tours of the most exquisite gardens in the world.

Founded by Pierre and Françoise de Filippis, for over 15 years Monde & Merveilles has been one of the only European tour agencies that specializes in Garden Tours. Concentrating uniquely on gardens, we offer over 30 different tours that can include botanical gardens, historic sites, or kitchen gardens. In each of our tours we develop themes that celebrate not only the beauties of the garden, but also allow visitors to explore the rich cultures that created them.

Led by experienced guides in limited groups, we stay in small, charming hotels, usually in garden settings, and savor the regional cooking, often fresh from the local garden or vineyard ! For our English-speaking friends we have created special tours in France (Paris and Provence) and in Europe (Italy, France and England). These tours take special advantage of extraordinary events such as the Chelsea Garden Show, The Courson Flower and Vegetable Exhibition, and the Chaumont Contemporary Landscape Competition in the Loire Valley.
